Recently, the national development and Reform Commission directly named nine provinces and regions at a regular press conference: Qinghai, Ningxia, Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Shaanxi and Jiangsu. In the first half of the year, the energy consumption intensity did not decrease but increased year-on-year! In addition, the reduction rate of energy consumption intensity in 10 provinces has not met the progress requirements, and the national energy-saving situation is very serious.

In less than four months from the year-end "big test", the areas "named" by the Ministry of industry and information technology have successively taken measures to improve energy consumption as soon as possible. Jiangsu, Guangdong, Zhejiang and other major chemical industry provinces have made heavy blows. Thousands of enterprises have taken measures such as shutdown and power outage, which has taken local enterprises by surprise. Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong and other regions have successively issued power rationing and shutdown measures.
